...out of green cans. £50 for 10Litres of E10. Not including the cans.

I wonder if this is a one off, or do you think others will be doing a similar thing?
The fuel stations are all out locally.

I think this is also illegal. Fuel can only be dispensed through an authorised and correctly calibrated pump??

Check your own FB locals for similar? Lots of people filling up cans in the queues recently, and no fuel left to be had at the moment.

Are you surprised? It's wrong (don't know the legal situation) but as soon as something is perceived to be limited, someone always does this. Morally wrong or not, it happened with the bog roll during lock down.

I have another question - is there anyway of checking if local fuel stations have been refilled? I don’t want to waste the little I have driving around to check. Just incase there’s a website or app or something.

It's just supply and demand IMO, no more or less immoral than any other company paying their workers the absolute minimum they can get away with and charging a top price for their item. Ie iPhone, sainsburys etc

Not to say this person was acting morally well, just no real difference to any other company

Fuel is a controlled commodity though, and can only be sold under licence - due to safety, storage, tax, subject to weights & measures laws?
Probably only applies if over a certain volume though.......
