Green hair!

Aibu in being totally annoyed with myself.

I successfully bleached my hair and dyed it - after multiple warnings from Mumsnet not to do it. I was smug

I was washing my hair today and my mum had left some of her blue shampoo on the side - I used it quickly like a damn fool and now I'm green! Definitely green tinges.

I'm tempted to give up with all this malarkey. I have a really important week at work next week - think multiple meeting important. What shall I do? Help me vipers?

Strawberry blonde? Golden blonde? Will that work? Had such a good thing going with my purple shampoo too! All shall I sod it all of and go auburn.

After this im paying someone to do it I promise!

Can you afford a salon cut and colour? I’ll be honest when my hair was like that I had to cut it right back. This is going to me painful to hear but you’ll probably need to go brunette for a while.

That would look way better thank the fake blonde even before the green issue.

Glad you got it sorted OP. From your skin tone I think once you are over this disaster, as mod-brunette would look lovely on you, much better than any blonde colour.

@OddSockReunion just a light-hearted response to someone having a bit of an ‘oh god my hair!’ moment - I’ve been there and it’s nice to have friendly support. I had to cut all my hair off after a bleaching disaster and I did cry!
