how to cancel asda click and collect

First time using ASDA online, and I thought I'd see what they had in my local ASDA by booking a click and collect. I didn't think there was any other way. With Tesco, usually products vary from store to store so I thought it'd be the same with ASDA. I've changed my mind on the click and collect but it's only giving me the option to change my order, not cancel it. There's nothing in the basket but it's still reserved for me and presumably I'll still be charged?

It only charges you when you choose your food and you get to the payment bit cos otherwise it wouldn't know how much to charge you

Asda are a nightmare. You can't cancel but will be refunded should you not collect (days later)

I cancelled an Asda click and collect a couple of weeks ago without issue; I clicked the 'cancel order' button which was under the 'amend this order' bit.

But OP says there's nothing in the basket
So she can't have got to the payment bit yet

Have you actually been through checkout? If not it'll just "cancel" automatically after a certain amount of time elapses and you don't order anything.

If you amend your order but don't go all the way through to confirm the order it will automatically be cancelled. You can't amend your order after 10pm the night before collection.

Your click snd collect booking will run out soon anyway if you don't put things in your basket and pay for your order. So it'll clear itself. Or you can change it up a booking and reset your timer.

To cancel an Asda order go to my account, my orders, click on which order it is (I guess the top one which will say order placed), click and it will give you option of amend order or cancel order. As long as it's not the next day and past 10pm.
