Pharmacist stabbed finger with vaccination needle

16 year old son had flu jab this afternoon and he said that the pharmacist stabbed her finger with needle before vaccinating him. He said that he thinks she got a new one, but I was waiting outside. Not a lot I can do, but I’m sure she would have thrown it away, I hope? Feeling a bit unsettled…

She would have 100% thrown it away.

She would have thrown it away, it is just protocol and it would never occur to any health professional to do anything else.

She will of course have thrown it away.

This happened when I had my first covid vaccine. She threw it away.

There is no chance at all that she did not throw it away. None.

Not a chance she'll have used the same one.
