School internet filters

Yesterday my yr4 child came home saying that when they had iPad time at school to do some work a few of the boys were googling one of these ridiculous urban myths, my child was shown the picture (think the”stupid deaths” man from horrible histories but scarier)
Que a night of nightmares, too scared to go to the loo on their own etc etc!
My child doesn’t have access to you tube, tiktok etc so they can’t look at these things

Now i know kids will look at these things but shouldn’t these things be filtered or blocked in a school environment?
Or am I expected to desensitise my child so they don’t bother her at 8 years old?

Just tell the school so they can tighten up the filters.

Schools iPad!

I will be speaking to school, I’m just wanting to be sure I’m not overacting
