Does anyone else absolutely HATE wearing a bra since having a baby?

I mean, I don't get it - prior to having my DD, I was fine, nearly 3 years later and I STILL hate it.. it's so unbelievably uncomfortable, I've had fittings, I've tried no underwire, t shirt bra's, everything you could think of and I still get that uncomfortable feeling.
As soon as I get home from work, it is literally the first thing I take off! the immense relief!
It's like a trigger inside my brain has been activated since having my DD and I now utterly hate wearing a bra.
Is anyone else the same?

I don't have a baby but I've noticed that since the birth of her twins three years ago, one of my friends seems to wear a bikini too everyday instead of a bra. I'm wondering if it's because bras are now uncomfortable for her.

I can't help but notice! It's not that I'm being pervy it's just they tend to show through as very brightly coloured, prints, halter or string style and she'll often wear a beige linen button up dress or something with a green jungle print halter neck showing through. Or a pale cotton t-shirt with a navy polka dot or tile print string bikini top. It's really obvious.

I'm big busted and during lockdown working from home ended up wearing alot of the M&S flexifit crop tops and bralettes for D+. I also bought some sleep bras from them. They are SO COMFY. I wear them in the day now too!

Nope, bloody love a well-fitted bra. Much more comfortable for me than having my norks swinging in the breeze.

Do whatever works for you.

Norks 😂

Only have smallish boobs, so didn’t wear one much before having a baby and as soon as BF was done (4 months), I barely wear them at all.
Same as you, can’t stand them at all!

Just stop wearing 🙌🏻

fluffiphlox · 22/09/2021 15:52

Lockdown had the same effect on me. Smile

PoolNooodle · 22/09/2021 15:53

Yes I hate it but can't not wear one as mine are big and saggy after breastfeeding 4

Ozanj · 22/09/2021 15:53

Yes I was the same until recently. I can now tolerate sports bras and some underwired ones with wider backs.

I have an almost 6 month old and I have to wear a bra all the time as he's EBF and I leak so much Sad I now really, really hate wearing a bra. But, I also hate getting covered in milk!

MyPatronusIsACat · 22/09/2021 16:38

Nope.

Mollie5 · 22/09/2021 16:39

1 year pp and I still go braless, I only wear a bra if my nipples show through my top, I have a small breasts so I can usually get away with it. 😂

FrequentFlyer96 · 22/09/2021 16:40

Same here, I can’t bear wearing ‘proper’ bras- so I live in bralettes, wireless crops and wireless bras- Calvin Klein make the comfiest wireless T-shirt bras with removable pads, I have them in all the colours. Highly recommend!

Glitterblue · 22/09/2021 16:45

I can't bear NOT wearing a bra, I'm always amazed at the number of people who can't wait to get theirs off the second they get through the door!

Zanina · 22/09/2021 17:01

Same! I don't wear them unless I really have to. Currently breast feeding baby no 2 and not wearing one as its restrictive. I once heard that if you go bra less, your breasts get accustomed to supporting themselves. I only notice when I'm wearing an outfit that I need a bra to look in "shape"
