Hi,

Posting here for traffic as I’m starting to get concerned and worried as being going on for some time now(few months)

Symptoms are

. Frequent urination, feeling unable to empty bladder sometimes, getting up in night to urinate, I do drink quite a lot as always seem to be thirsty
. Diahrea and sometimes urgent need to go
. Cramps/knots in stomach at times
. Feeling bloated/weird feeling in stomach
. Feeling tired and drained, no energy or motivation

Any ideas?

From the first and last points... have you been checked for diabetes?

WheelieBinPrincess · 21/09/2021 18:21

What does your doctor say?

Susannahmoody · 21/09/2021 18:21

Ibs?

See a doc

WartyToad · 21/09/2021 18:28

There's lots of things it could be from the minor like a uti or ibs, unexpected like pregnancy through to serious like diabetes or ovarian cancer. You need to speak to a gp and get checked.

Runkle · 21/09/2021 18:34

Stress? Speak to GP.

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 21/09/2021 18:36

Definitely speak to gp

My first thought was diabetes but no expertise at all!

lovingllamaa · 21/09/2021 18:36

My first thought was diabetes. How old are you and what’s your bmi?

Lostmarbles2021 · 21/09/2021 18:38

Diabetes, stress, perimenopause come to mind. Best bet is GP.

MatildaIThink · 21/09/2021 18:38

Sounds like diabetes to me, easy to test for, I would get checked out ASAP.

icedcoffees · 21/09/2021 18:40

The first and last points scream diabetes to me.
The others could be anything from worry/stress to IBS, cysts or ovarian cancer.

You need to see a GP.

VelvetChairGirl · 21/09/2021 18:42

Talk to a GP but are you craving sugar and does your breath stink like rotten apples?

another alternative with the pains would be celiacs but that doesnt make you piss, or lactose intolerance but again that doesnt make you piss.

go see a doctor.

Evielucy2019 · 21/09/2021 18:42

Thank you everyone, I have spoken to a gp who has arranged blood tests and urine sample and is going to call me with the results and go from there. Just worried as it’s not going away. I’m 24 and my bmi is 23.6. I did lose a lot of weight randomly last year but seemed to have gained it back without changing my diet

Evielucy2019 · 21/09/2021 18:43

@VelvetChairGirl not noticed the breath smell but I do crave sugar a lot, especially during my period

CoopsMalloops · 21/09/2021 18:59

@Evielucy2019 do you have breast implants? If so please look up Breast Implant illness if nothing comes back on your blood tests.

Namechangedzzz · 21/09/2021 19:09

Pregnant? Some people still have periods

MissLucyEyelesbarrow · 21/09/2021 19:27
@VelvetChairGirl not noticed the breath smell but I do crave sugar a lot, especially during my period
Craving sugar is not a sign of diabetes, though I agree with PPs that you need diabetes ruled out, given your other symptoms.

Evielucy2019 · 24/09/2021 15:38

Bloods were done yesterday. Results are ‘ potassium raised’ so got to have them repeated. What does this mean? Googled and it says about kidney disease being the main cause of this.. So worried

OP posts:
Evielucy2019 · 24/09/2021 15:40

Also, I’ve read it can happen when the blood sample is sat around too long. But I got my results in just over 24 hours so doesn’t seem that long

Stop googling. Stop asking strangers on the internet for a diagnosis and just speak to your gp who is medically trained to answer any questions. Nobody here can answer with certainty.

Evielucy2019 · 24/09/2021 15:54

Will do but just asking to see if anybody else has any experience of it whilst I wait.

No need to be so snappy with the OP, she has spoken to a doctor, she is clearly worried and has come on here for a bit of support as many people do on here when they have some worrying symptoms, OP might be best to get this moved to general health rather than AIBU.
