I know i probably am being unreasonable

I live in a row of terraced houses and the house to the left of me is converted into 2 flats.
A new family moved into downstairs flat a couple of months ago and straight off were unpleasant. They like to get up early and bang about or sit in their little back garden speaking on their phone with loudspeaker on until gone 11pm but I've been trying to ignore them but the thing that is annoying me the most is this weekend they've been drying their washing by putting it over our shared fence (it is my fence if I need to replace it for whatever reason though) so when they were drying their bedsheet half of it was in my garden and my gosh did it make me angry but I can't exactly explain why. Someone please explain why this is making me so angry 😤

I'd have felt a desparate need to water my garden. Or paint the fence.

Chuck it back over and claim the wind must have blown it. Inconsiderate assholes.

There is 5 fence panels and coats drying on 4 of them currently. I was thinking about chucking them back over but thought it was a dick move but I'm going to do it right now.

Have you actually spoken to them about these issues?

That would annoy me too. Perhaps they just haven't got a washing line yet though.

Is it time to spray paint your fence?

put a strip of anti climb paint along the fence on your side and make it 30 or 40 centimetres from the top. That paint never dries so if they hang stuff over the fence it will get paint on it. keep it legal by putting a sign on your side of your fence warning that there is anti climb paint on the fence. If they complain say it was to stop insects crawling up the fence as you hate spiders.

@TidyDancer they have a washing line I can see it and it's been empty both times
