Sellers have pulled out :(

I'm not sure if I've posted in the right section but my boyfriend and I had an offer accepted on a house 13 weeks ago. We're first time buyers. Searches and survey came back fine but our sellers pulled out today due to not being able to find any rentals to go to. I know there is nothing that we can do about it, it's just one of those things and the risk you take but we are absolutely heartbroken. Have been crying on and off all day, I know I need to get a grip. It's just such an awful feeling and certainly not the experience we had imagined Sad

Urgh, it is awful. House sales rarely go smoothly and almost everyone has at least one setback like this. It is surprising how badly it can affect you.

It's awful but it will pass and you'll get your new home eventually. You'll probably barely remember what this one looks like.

Oh I’m so sorry. This happened to us a few weeks ago, it’s the worst feeling in the world - all that lost money as well Sad

To give you a hopeful story, we offered on a place last week and were accepted, and as our own buyers are still hanging on we’re able to move quickly.

Fingers crossed for you.

I feel your pain. We were 6 months into a purchase of what we considered our dream home and due to unfortunate events the seller decided to keep the property. 3 days before exchange. Did you have any luck finding a new property?

I feel for you as it’s such a dreadful situation, and so frustrating.
We are buying and had an offer accepted only for it to be withdrawn by the vendor only last week.
