Moved house recently and our garden has a gate to a graveyard, a huge garden front and back and is just a fabulous house we are renting.
My son who is five came down last night freaked out because he said that lady keeps coming to visit him and goes to scratch him. She told him not to tell us.
I found myself praying to St. Stylianos to protect my son. Logic has gone out of my brain and he is freaked out.
AIBU to ask you people think is going on?

I think you have an imaginative dc.

I don't believe in ghosts.

Ooooo spooky! No idea. But probably worth keeping an eye that no one in your son's life is actually scratching him etc.

Could be ghost.

Could be nightmares.

Could be imagination.

Can he moved bedrooms?

He's overheard conversations containing nonsense

He has an overactive imagination

I just wonder if he has been talking to others at school or if someone has been scratching at school.
My sister is using her (she says) psychic powers saying its a spirit. I got a but freaked out at his description and said a prayer to the saint. But in the cold light of day think he has had a bad dream.

Never heard of saint stylianos so thanks for the education. 5 does seem a bit young for other kids to be telling him spooky stories about the graveyard.

He's been listening to your sister talking about her 'psychic powers' and listening to you going on about praying to saints. He's also probably overheard you or other adult family members talking about the graveyard. No wonder he's having funny dreams with all that lot going on.

Would doing something along the lines of 'Monster Spray' help?
