I wfh all through lock down.. Work were going to make us all 100% remote. I left the job as I wasn't mentally challenged enough. Started a new role and it was 5 days officed base. Felt battered by the end of the week.
Now we have a hybrid work policy with 2 x wfh days. I'm in the office on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and home in between. Honestly, it's just lifted me 100%. It's the perfect mix.
I started feeling resentful wfh indefinitely in my last job as partly because my home became my workplace. It was a hard slog going in 5 days a week, now with hybrid working it just feels so good.
Anyone else felt the same?

Yup. I was hybrid anyway due to the work I do but it's perfect. Couple of days in to catch up with other people abs talk through some stuff f2f and then the balance to just get on at home.

I agree. It think it's much better.

Fully wfh or fully office would never suit me. Or most people. And tbf the vast majority of wfh is actually hybrid.

Most (not all) wfh would be expected to attend meetings in person occasionally or even go to head office for a 1-2-1 or something.

I like hybrid because its complete choice. Most places would let you work ft in the office, even if your contract is hybrid. Bit then you would have a choice if on occasion it suited to be at home.
