AIBU to feel hurt by this?

Have been a treasurer for a fairly large community group for several years. Following the pandemic, the Chair and the two membership secretaries decided they didn't want to continue. As no one wanted to take over their roles, the group will be closed and members will continue to meet just informally.
At our final meeting with the whole group the chair thanked the two membership secretaries for all their work over the years, but I wasn't mentioned at all. It just felt like a bit of a kick in the teeth after all the work I have put in. For context, there is no animosity at all. All members of the committee are on good terms and are warm and friendly. In the past have said how happy they were with the work I have done for the organisation. I just feel a bit valueless that my input wasn't even worth a mention.

OP you often hear when people win awards etc that they forgot to mention people who were very important to them. I think that may be what happened. I know it's not nice at all but could have been just an innocent mistake.

To be honest, I'd be hurt too. Whether it's an oversight or not, it would still sting

Yes I agree it's probably a mistake - not personal (although it feels it). Also Treasurers sometimes have quite a low profile - although they do vital work. They are not always the 'face' of a committee or organisation. (Accept this may not be the case in your situation).

Thank you all for your words of comfort! I am sure you are right in that it is almost certainly an oversight. The other people on the committee are nice people and would certainly not have deliberately caused any offence. It just smarts a bit!
