I have a Bugaboo Fox which I started having problems with when unfolding the chassis. The issue was with the central locking mechanism and appears to be a common problem! I am shocked Bugaboo did not recall the model as hundreds of buggies went in for the same fault to be repaired with parts ordered from China. My buggy went in for repair and returned back to me completely broken! When questioned I was told the chassis was 'UNREPAIRABLE' and would not be sent back to me in a usable condition as it was unsafe for use.
So now I am without a buggy and have a toddler and 6 month old baby that I can't take out of the house as my pushchair is completely broken. When I sent it off to Bugaboo's authorised repairer where I was advised to send it it was actually working, just temperamental when unlocking and unfolding. Had I of known it would be sent back to me in a completely broken state I would not have sent it off for repair! I was never sent a disclosure document to sign by the repairer and Bubaboo appear to be completely uninterested in coming to a resolution. I would have thought buying into the Bubagoo brand meant the build quality would be the best and cause no problems. If anyone as experienced anything similar or have any advice I would grateful appreciate it.
