I had an offer accepted on a empty run down grade 2 listed house in April.
My conveyancer is sending me insane!!
I have even offered to pay the sellers indemnity policy as seller who is in a care home is deaf and hard to reach at times.
It's an empty house!
I thought I would be by July so Ican get central heating installed before the winter.
It's now mid September!
AIBU to demand I want completion by the latest this Friday.

It's been one of the busiest periods in history for lenders, mortgage brokers, conveyancers and council teams doing searches so I think YWBU to expect to be in in July.

It depends what's holding it up, to be honest. You can demand a date but if something is outstanding with say the land registry they will do it when they get to it.
