Hi all!

I'm after Liverpool Street Station pretty please!

I also have some spares, anyone else as sad as me and trying to win freebies? 🤣

That is very rare, if anyone has it they won't be giving it away!

Same for Mayfair, Bond Street, Conventry street, Strand, Malborough Street, Northumberland Road, Old Kent Road and Euston Road. If you have any of them don't give them away as you will get the matching ones easily.

This is how the game is controlled, so they know exactly how many prizes there are. One from each set is the rare one and the actual prize winning one, with the others in the set being printed in the thousands. If someone has the rare one, they would be stupid to swap or share with someone with the others, as they could just buy £30 of McDonald's and probably end up with the others.

Who playing monoply macdonalds.
I need 1 red the strand.
I need one yellow Coventry Street yellow.

I got park Lane for swap.
I got two brown streets white Chapel and old Kent road.
I got 2 stations French church and king cross.

There’s one rare one in each set and it’s the ones you’ll be missing; you won’t get a swap.

It’s not a game of swaps.

So there are only 175 red The Strand tickets.

There are only 100 yellow Coventry Street tickets.

There are 2 million Old Kent Roads (and that’s the rare one in the brown set).

There are millions of Park Lanes, Whitechapels, Kings Crosses etc.

Everything you have available to swap are the ones everyone else has too.

It’s not a game of swaps. If someone has a rare one, they aren’t swapping it.

There's a list of the rare ones on the McDonald's monopoly website along with the number of winners. We've won free food and drink so far on the tickets, and digital magazines on the online win tickets.

I'm not expecting to find any rare ones, we're happy with the free food!

Yep - it is still running. There is an article on their website which basically said that they were printed assuming the covind crisis would be over, but issuing them was delayed. As such, the dates have all been extended:-

Details:-
The MONOPOLY promotion at McDonald’s was initially planned to return in March 2021. However, it was postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions and closures. Over 200 million MONOPOLY game pieces had already been printed and dated under audited, secure processes.

McDonald’s has repurposed the packaging with these outdated game pieces to ensure the MONOPOLY promotion at McDonald’s could return for customers as soon as it was safe to do so in August. The game pieces will include incorrect expiry dates, so McDonald’s are urging customers to check the dates below:

Play From Old: 24/03/2021 New: 25/08/2021
Play Until Old: 04/05/2021 New: 05/10/2021

As others have noted, it is NOT a game of swaps - it is simply pure luck if you get one of the "rares" needed to complete a set. Other than that, it is the occasional free food or online access for a month to a streaming site I would not otherwise use :-)

They're vouchers from last year as they didn't do it then, but they're valid until later this year- guess it saved them re printing them all and wastage

I dont usually bother with the instant won tickets, is there any point it seems a bit of a faff

How is it a faff? You walk into the restaurant, hand over your tickets, get free food.

It couldn’t be easier Confused
