Second hand pyjamas

Hi, I recently picked up some pyjamas in the market, where they usually sell new clothes or customer returns that the shops couldn’t sell in store.

The pyjamas are 100% silk and from John Lewis, so I was very happy to get them for £3 each. One looks brand new the other a bit frayed but they might have got frayed in store as silk is so delicate. Both very clean.

Does anyone here wear second hand pyjamas? I have bought tops from charity shops before but not pyjamas so I was a bit hesitant.

As they’re silk I obviously can’t put them in a hot wash so will hand wash them.

YANBU: wear them, it’s fine
YABU: I draw the line at pyjamas from charity shops

Just iron them if you are worried (following the instructions) - the heat be hot enough to kill anything.

I've bought a couple of onsies from charity shops. Wash on a high heat and they are good as new. Clothes you buy brand new in shops are just as dirty and have been tried on and handled by so so many people.
