Can I take gaviscon while being on antibiotics

Hi I'm on a course of antibiotics but forgot to ask my doctor if it's okay to still take my gaviscon tablets but I've been searching everywhere and it's saying it's not good to mix antibiotics with gaviscon apparently not sure how true has anyone still took antibiotics and gaviscon

Btw I'm on amoxicillin

Is there anything on either of the information leaflets? Usually it will say not to take indigestion remedies at the same time if you can't.

You should leave a 2 hour gap between the antibiotics and the gaviscon. The gaviscon may stop the antibiotics from being absorbed properly.
