For my almost 3 year old to cry every single time he’s dropped Archie nursery? He only goes twice a week, but two full days, as I’m working then.
He’s been going two days a week since he was 11 months old.
Surely by now he should be used to it?
They always reassure me that he’s fine and settles soon after I’ve left. But it’s so hard when he cries every time I drop him there Sad
The crying starts before we even leave the house, he runs off, shuts the door because he doesn’t want to go. Then cries in the car and when we get there. It’s relentless.
The staff are lovely, it’s only a small nursery, so I’m at a loss really.

Can he articulate why he doesn't want to go?

My DS, who’s been going to his childminder since a baby, cries, hides and runs off before it’s time to leave and most days refuses to go inside unless he’s picked up and carried. He loves his childminder, always has a great time there but would much rather be at home with me. Soon as I’m gone he calms down and enjoys his day. Tough as hell though Flowers
