To ask has anyone been to Albir?

My mums booked a holiday for myself, her and DD (who will be almost 4 at the time)

Her friends recommended Albir on the Costa Blanca and she's got a good deal for next summer.

I've never heard of it nor can I find much about it online, has anyone ever been? Is the place nice? Amenities etc?

I've been, was a few years ago but a lovely place. Very family friendly, lovely beach, friendly feel. Might have changed a bit, went over 10 yes ago.

It's lovely! My parents had an apartment a few miles from there (closer to Calpe) but with hindsight, would have bought in Albir.

Although I don't really care too much for Benidorm itself, there are some decent attractions near there, e.g. Mumdomar and some water parks.

My end of town, it's a good area to stay OP.
Lots on your doorstep and probably a 20 minute walk to the beach along the main street.
The beach area is very well kept with lots of amenities.
There are a few local play areas for children, one on the beach and popular Eucalyptus park which is a street back from the beach with a very nice cafe.
You can get a day pass to the small waterpark within the Albir Gardens hotel for about 12 euro each which I understand is ideal for smaller children.
Outside the hotel you can catch a local bus to Altea or Benidorm if you want to venture further.
