I expect there are many things they aren't allowed to do any more. It's desperately sad.

While it's an awful infringement of their liberties, I'm sure most will be far more worried about not being able to work any longer. Or those single mothers who are having their children removed from their care by the Taliban.

I read a book about life for a girl under the taliban many years ago. Must dig it out and re read as here they go again.

I wish all the women could leave.

Presumably fighters (male) or slaves/wives for girls. It was in the guardian today.

I think sport is the least of their worries unfortunately. Being taken at 12 to become a wife or sex slave or being executed without trial are probably bigger worries.

I'm sure they're much bigger worries but it's such a symbolic and crappy restriction. These tossers and their weapons and their patriarchy.
