DS has just moved rooms and we now go around the back through the outside area to drop and collect. The gate is always open during these times and one door to the room is open with a dolls house blocking the door so little ones would struggle to escape. Though I’m concerned access for anyone who wants to get in is pretty easy. Feels like a safeguarding issue? Or AIBU?
On a separate note after being ig informed DS (21 months) was changing rooms, was later informed that there was a massive move around and the new (smaller) toddler room is now split into two, one side for 20-30 months one for 30-40 (approx I can’t remember for sure). Disappointed by this as I chose the nursery based on the toddler room where DS would spend most of his time.
Spoke to person in charge today so I guess give the benefit of doubt about the gate until back Monday? Or is it a safeguarding issue that needs to be reported to head office? Person in charge said ‘oh they shouldn’t be doing that’ but she must have known - they’ve been doing it all week.
Thoughts?
