Does Berocca work?

Some people seem to swear by it for avoiding all colds, other reviews so it’s not good for you… can anyone advise, is Berocca worth taking?!

Help my hangovers 😅

It's just Vit C isn't it?

Couple of oranges just as good.?

WhyMeLord · 07/09/2021 20:23

It's a magical life giving exlir for the tired and / or hungover. Colds? No idea, probably not.

Aren't the people who say that vitamins prevent colds the same people who insist they are rational people but they have definitely seen / felt a ghost?

It's just vitamins. If you're deficient then it will help, if you're already fine then not so much.

It’s B vitamins rather than Vit C.

It contains caffeine, so a coffee would be just as good, and taste better.

Standard berocca doesn’t, just the boost stuff

It's quite miraculous when you have a bad hangover and have to go to work and do something customer facing and be cheerful Grin

A few years ago I did a residential course for work - most of the others were taking beroca (one had jet lag, another a hangover...).

they spent breaks discussing how orange their pee wasHmm

I take two for a hangover (suggested by a friend) and it works a charm. And no it's not just the liquid in the drink, I could drink pints of water and it still wouldn't be as efficient as the double berocca cocktail.

I get Redoxon instead when it's available. Only one flavour, but it has a wider range of vitamins and minerals (C, A, D, B6, B12, Folic Acid, Zinc, Iron, Copper & Selenium).

I think it helps - I'm not a huge fan of medication (despite having to inject some), but I do seem to feel better than I did beforehand and my skin and hair are in better condition.
