I should start with ‘this is LIGHTHEARTED’. I’ve been in a long term relationship for a while now - and we are finally seeing each other on Thursday (yay). Originally, we were meant to be apart for 2 months and it has now been 14…. He is coming to visit for a month. We hadn’t really dated for very long before I left, maybe 8 months - but, had I stayed, we would have moved in together

So, to the voting
IABU it will go swimmingly
IANBU tissues at the ready, we will crash and burn

Good luck. What do you think will happen? I assume you have been in contact during your home apart?
If the spark is still there then happy days.

Time apart not homeHmm

Thank you - I knew what you meant. I'm hoping for the best, but anxious that a month is a long time. I like periods of retreat to regroup, but he's not the type to crowd me

Why would you have moved in together after such a short time?

Crash n burn - sorry OP

neverknowinglyunreasonable · 06/09/2021 23:21

Third option - it will go swimmingly, tissues at the ready

haveagohero · 06/09/2021 23:24

@Catasptrophisemycat there's not short answer to that one - but it's too long to explain. My work is not static, but we would have had a 'base' together

OP can you update us after the visit. I'm hoping for a happy endingGrin
