Dn was told by a doctor his heart rate was fast but not that fast for a person of his age 19. I always thought once people were adults their heart rate stayed the same.

60-100 BPM is usually considered 'normal' for an adult. Athletes can usually go down to around 40 BPM without it being concerning.

No, it slows down. That’s why the charts for target and maximum heart rate differ by age.

This is interesting.

Heart beat is to do with size (elephant v mouse!) and is linked I think to how we perceive time!

Anyway.

V big healthy people are slower than teeny, great big hearts!

If you are super fit it goes very low.

No not all the same.

Why did you think that? You don’t breath or sweat at the same rate once adult.Confused.
