I think I have mastitis but just wanted to know, has anyone ever had mastitis and their boob is super lumpy and has had a large dent suddenly appear???

I've constantly had blockages whilst breastfeeding ds2. I've finally cracked how to sort it you need any tips, without using antibiotics.
It's horrible isn't it! I've actually been sorting blockages again today; I think for me it happens whenever feeds are reduced or baby is too tired to drain breasts.

You can have infected and non infected mastitis. Flu like symptoms can advance incredibly quickly. Hope you're doing ok x

Do you have a pump to try and relieve some of the pressure in the meantime? If you’re in pain I would call 111 and get an OOH appointment, particularly if EBF and try and get started on antibiotics ASAP.

Dents seem unusual in my experience, but if you have an abscess maybe it is pulling your boob out of shape?

Are you still under your Maternity Outpatients Assessment Unit?

Beware with calling 111. I was told that because I had a high temperature I had to self isolate because of covid. Just as well I ignored it because I was in hospital with sepsis from infective mastitis and cellulitis within a matter of hours.
