I really fucking hate Bluey

It's dreadful. Like a poor-man's Peppa Pig. The dad is a grumpy bastard. It's like he has a hangover or something. It is incredibly boring. Am very disappointed as I liked the idea of a female protaganist. I like that Bluey doesn't have eyelashes to show the audience she is female. But ugh. So dull. AIBU to ban it forever?

Bluey is awesome. My kids are teenagers so way too old to watch it, and yet DS (16) showed us an episode the other day and we all loved it! Looking forward to having grandchildren now so I can watch it with them! YABTotallyU.

Peppa is a monster and while daddy pic is sexy as hell, Bluey’s dad is even more so.

I don't love Bluey as much as a lot of people here but I do think it provides a really good example of family dynamics especially how involved the dad is. I love it when the mum just merrily goes off for a run and waves goodbye to them all.

Bluey is incredible. I’m an ex pat in Australia and seriously I cannot wait for my 5 month old to be big enough to watch and enjoy hearing the Aussie accents.

YABU. “Poor man’s peppa pig” - peppa is the worst!!
Bluey is miles better. I’m Aussie though so that might be making me feel more protective of it.

Shock I LOVE Bluey! I love that it’s mostly the dad, I love the imaginative games Bluey comes up with, I love that my 5 year old has started to play more imaginatively since watching it..
Peppa pig is a brat but Bluey is great!

Peppa is bloody awful!
I love Bluey, the division of labour is really naturally balanced, the dad is a fantastic dad but like a real life good dad. You can imagine them as a real family of normal people.

I don’t hate it but was a bit underwhelmed when I watched it after seeing how much everyone else seemed to have a bone on for it. DD isn’t really bothered either, so Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom is still top dog here.

Bluey is fabulous. Dad is great...I love how he messes up at times but he actually plays with his kids. And Mum heading off out... :)
I discovered it through the kids I work with at school and am now waiting for my grandson to be old enough to enjoy it with me Grin

Plus my ds1 is in Oz and it's how I imagine my grandkids (one day!) ther will speak :)

Are you joking? Bluey is in a different league to Peppa Pig. Peppa pig is a disgusting programme which promotes name calling and is just so incredibly boring and 2-dimensional. Its absolutely vile. It's like a cartoon version of the daily mail.
Bluey is an incredible, imaginative and emotive cartoon. The use of classical music is wonderful and the themes are so thoughtful and well pitched to children.

Bluey had to grow on me but it is brilliant. Really funny and imaginative. Realised half the cute stuff DS3 has come out with recently has all been lifted from Bluey. Have never had time for Peppa Pig, that's just totally lost on me.

I really can't understand liking Peppa Pig but not liking Bluey. I don't mind either but Bluey is fantastic.

I love it!!

When DS was little he adopted this weird, fake southern accent saying thing like baaarth and caaarstle from watching peppa pig and it was very frustrating.
He's now adopted a slight Australian twang and calls the toilet the dunny which makes me laugh.

I love the dad! He fully invests in the games and make-believe, even when he's busy!
