I really fucking hate Bluey

It's dreadful. Like a poor-man's Peppa Pig. The dad is a grumpy bastard. It's like he has a hangover or something. It is incredibly boring. Am very disappointed as I liked the idea of a female protaganist. I like that Bluey doesn't have eyelashes to show the audience she is female. But ugh. So dull. AIBU to ban it forever?

No, they're both girls. Incidentally, when I said that to my 8 year old DSS he was clearly puzzled and spent a good few minutes reckoning with the fact that surely at least one of the main characters MUST be a boy. It just made me love it even more.

Bluey is a firm favourite in our house! Along side go jetters, Peter rabbit and octonaughts 😁

Is this some kind of sick joke? Bluey is so lovely, funny and warm and shows a real modern family. Peppa is fine but nothing compared to bluey!

We all love Bluey, kids and adults. Like a PP we’ve adopted quite a few sayings from Bluey into real life- a ‘bush wee’ and a ‘tactical wee’!

Sticky Gecko is the best episode! Whoever wrote that must have experience of trying to get kids out of the house on time.

I had a little tear in my eye this morning as my children were watching the episode 'Baby Race'.

I love that my three kids (2, 6, 9) all enjoy it.
My 9 year old started a game of shadowlands with his sibling yesterday

I've only watched a few episodes but it seems too fast or something, fine for the adults but I'm not sure how much my 2yo was really taking in or understanding. He seems to prefer timmy the confused sheep.

Wow! I had no idea bluey was a girl! This is news to me. I like it just a little bit more now but tbh I'm not that keen actually! I don't like Peppa either or Go Jetters. My favourite kids show is Bing! I just love Flop. And Waffle is a great show too.

I absolutely love Bluey. I enjoyed every episode myself.

Peppard pig is a pile of shite that really should be taken off TV. I cannot understand why any parent would allow their child to watch it.

It’s a beautiful programme. There are morals and messages that aren’t shoved down your throat, no reinforcing of traditional gender roles, it’s hilarious and has spawned some fabulous catchphrases in our house.
