Posting here for traffic - tumble dryer

I have a tumble dryer but it's currently in the way where it is positioned.

I know they aren't meant to go on carpets. But I have spare laminate slabs from when the flooring went down. It I put a couple of slabs on the carpet in the spare room, could I put the tumble dryer on there?

You can get anti static mats for them I think? One of those would be better maybe.
