AIBU to not understand La Redoubt Baby Clothes Sizes?

It's been a long week, I'm tired, probably being a bit stupid but I'm really struggling to understand their size guide.

Unlike most brands, their sizes are not 9-12, 12-18 months etc. They are 9 months or 12 or 18 months with no age range. The measurements are the same, just a number with no range.

Anyone shopped with them before an can help me out? My baby is in standard 12-18 months in all other shops, which size do I need here?

It drives me mad! The number is the top of the age range. So 18 is '12-18'.

They come up small, so you might be best off with the 24 month or 2 year size.

18 months. But La Redoute sizes come up small.

Brilliant thanks, that's what I couldn't work out

Why can't they just have the same sizing as everywhere else, so confusing!

If you look at the size guides on websites it will tell you the actual size - so a La Redoute 18 months is 81cm, M&S 12-18 months is 83cm and Mothercare 12-18 months is 86cm

Thanks. M&S 12-18 swamps her so La Redoute will hopefully be a good fit.

YABU to expect French brands to follow UK sizing.
All baby clothes in France are single size, like the adult ones.

I live in Australia and don't complain that clothes in shops use 6, 8, .... instead of 34, 36,
