Kids clothing sizes

I’m thinking about buying some clothes from my toddler from eBay. She’s nearly 3 so I’m after 3-4 years stuff. There’s a bundle I’m looking at and on some of the labels just say 3 years.

Is that supposed to mean up to 3 years as in 2-3, or is 3 years like the minimum requirement? Why do some clothes manufacturers have to add an element of doubt to their labels?!

What size do you think it’s supposed to mean? AIBU for thinking labels should say the actual size and not make me have to guess?

I would say this means 2-3

It really does my head in as well, why can't all labels be a from and to size?

Depends where they're from.

Standard age 3, 4 etc is European sizing.

It generally "up to age" so 3 is 2-3, 4 is 3-4.

Obviously though stores vary with fit and sizing so not all will fit at a standard age.
