There is a separate wedding board. But people treat AIBU as a catch all; "for traffic" or because they're too lazy / thick to Google.

AIBU is also frequently treated as a substitute for TripAdvisor, Rightmove, doctors and lawyers.

I wish MN would clamp down on it.

Actual AIBU dilemmas?

Rather than "AIBU to buy this legal and widely available thing because I'm too wet to make any decisions for myself" or "AIBU to not want to stick forks into my eyes" or "AIBU to ask you to think of birthday present ideas for this person you don't know".

A wedding flow chart for decision making for bride, groom and guest as a sticky on aibu would save a lot of wasted typing time on everyones part.

@Lockheart I'm not very good at imagining hypothetical AIBUs either.

I do think there should be a sticky for 'Chat' though. AIBU is usually the gateway drug to MN because it (used to be and sometimes still is) quite funny and fast-paced. I didn't didn't know Chat existed for aaaaaaages.

You can ask AIBU about any topic. At least most of the wedding ones are asking AIBU, rather than the plenty of threads which have nothing at all to do with reasonableness.
