Aibu to want resolutions for various songs?

Is it just me who listens to a favourite song and wonders how it might have turned out?
Today I listened to Don Henley’s Boys of Summer and pondered the outcome, did he win her back or was it a summer romance that didn’t last and he moved on. Another song is Richard Marx’s hazard, in my head he of course was innocent but I love that it’s kinda of ambiguous.
Are there any songs that make you wonder the outcome or am I alone in being over invested?

You are not alone , I think of this kind of thing too and Harzard is a very good example .
I cant think of any right now but I will report back when some pop into my head .

I also think of why the singer / writer thought of them words was it from a personal experience, like Kenny Rogers - Coward Of The County and Leonard Cohens - Nevermind . In this song he sounds like he may of been a war spy and someone he kew went over to the other side / enemy overthinking should be my middle name

A lot of his songs are very dark , but I really like his voice
