To be frustrated by the fact a Pendleton Somerby bike isn't compatible with the baby seats recommended?! Which seat do you use with it?

I've got a Pendleton Somerby Hybrid and wanted to start taking DS out on it as he likes being on DH's bike but I'm with him more in the week.
Ordered one of the recommended rack mounted seat, didn't fit. Same with the second one we bought. Halfords no help at all. I'm quite short so have the saddle down low.

If you have a Pendleton and use a baby seat, which model do you use? Is it me?

This one fits to a clamp secured under the handlebars. Might that work better?

Thank you, ideally I'm after a rear one as I know he will keep trying to turn to look at me and I'll feel less confident riding with him up front

I have the bobike front mounted seat too and we love it. I was nervous the first ride out but quickly got used to it after a few times. I like it because I can see when she is falling asleep and we an talk and sing etc as we ride.

Hello! I was just about to purchase this bike second hand today but am a bit concerned I can’t find which seats are compatible. Did you find one in the end? I’m looking to mount a junior seat for my 6 yr old. If you see this message I would really appreciate hearing your experience before I commit on this bike!
