Does anyone have HSBC Life Cover from 2017?

I have been told that Guaranteed Insurability is not available to those who took out cover in 2017.

I have found the policy booklet online (2018-2020) that shows it was available in those years,
and have been told on the phone that it was only earlier policies that had this as an option. I think my policy came under 2015-17 terms.

Am I being strung along here; or can anyone knowledgable or with the original policy booklet confirm this is the case?
