Alexa farting uncontrollably!

Any idea why this could be happening?

Some twonk has told it to to wind you up. We had a 'friend' do this to our Alexa at a dinner party and we just couldn't stop the bloody thing we had to get a replacement in the end dh was so not amused.

Oh yes the Alexa fart noises. So many timed an accompaniment to my work meetings during lockdown 😀 thanks kids.

My kids found this hilarious when they discovered she could do it 🙄 it gets old very quickly!! You can set them on a timer and everything. I think to stop it you just have to ask her to do something else.

Alexa won’t do more than 100 farts in a row I think (obviously my DC asked her to do a million) 🙄

Yes the timer farts appealed massively to my DC, and rather less so to me!

Someone has set her to do this. Possibly as a joke she has been set to do this for a period .
You could try telling her to stop. If that fails go to your phone ( or a gadget she is linked to) go into the settings and stop that way.
I admit I have set ours up on dd and found it funny.

All you do is stop it on the app. Or switch it off. Not sure why you had to replace it

No kids and DP not responsible. Just asked her nicely to turn a lamp on (which is the only thing she does around here) and off she went.

Check your routines in the app and see if it's been set to do that when you turn the lamp on.

I don’t know which is worse - Alexa farting or miaowing like a cat. Dcs are fans of both much to my annoyance.
