To wonder if children's parties are back to 'normal'?

DS turns five next month and his birthday is the first up in his new school class. Am wondering if children's parties are back to normal or whether people still avoiding them? I'm in Scotland and an indoor venue etc would all be allowable under the rules but haven't heard of many people doing them yet. AIBU to proceed with a 'normal' party?

Why don't you ask the prospective invitees?

I'm in Scotland too and parties are quite normal where I am in Fife

My DS just went to a 6th birthday party, 14 kids. They were in the garden quite a bit but still partied away. He's invited to another in September so I guess parties are back round our way.

DD was at a party the other week, also in Scotland. It was at one of those trampoline places, and was pretty busy. Apart from the adults wearing masks, it was quite normal.

I am currently organising my daughter's class party and all are attending

I was just thinking the other day there hasn’t been that many recently. I think that people here are still doing smaller parties.

I really don't see the difference between a class at a party or a class in the classroom. I personally wouldn't mix groups e.g. cousins and school friends.

Seem to be normal where I am thankfully. My DD’s have 2 coming up in the next 3 weeks.

Thanks everyone - was going towards the it's that same class group so should be ok viewpoint but gut feeling is maybe not the best idea!
