Hen do

I'm bridesmaid for a friend who is getting married in a few weeks (4th date lucky due to covid)

Bride to be went on her away hen do at the weekend (I couldn't go due to childcare) so said I would organise a local one.

Bride has 'pinged' yesterday and has to self isolate for 7 days - is a week or so short of being 2 weeks jabbed.

Local hen do is currently planned for a week before the wedding. I'm now thinking this isn't the best idea as we could end up with half the bridal party isolating, or worse with Covid (not all are jabbed)

I'm going to suggest doing something after the wedding , which I know isn't ideal but I also know I have some health anxiety with it after my husband was hospitalised with it earlier in the year so not sure if I am over reacting.

Thoughts?

Is she a week short of being two weeks double jabbed?

That sounds like a much better plan. She would be upset if people missed the wedding

I think the week before the wedding is to risky either being further away or maybe something out doors?

I think you should share those concerns with her and let her decide. It’s her wedding so up to her to decide whether to take the risk of people having to isolate and not be able to attend.
