Due to COVID and staff sickness/ leaving my dentist appointments keep getting cancelled.
I was due a checkup just before lockdown and haven't had one since.
I now have a problem I need to see the dentist for but I cannot get an appointment. I have been calling every day for 2 weeks as soon as the line opens.
My friend has a cracked tooth and called the dentist as soon as it opened on Monday. She was one of the lucky ones who managed to get and appointment even though she has had checkups since lockdown ( her dentist hasn't canceled on her at same practice).
It's not fair is it?
My problem, if left, will get a lot worse and will need more treatment possibly costing me more money.
I'm annoyed that my friend has continued to get her treatment and checkups and they just keep canceling on me. I know illnesses cannot be helped but surely I should have a slight priority over someone who's been able to keep their appointments.
