Anyone else feel like they’re coming down with flu…

…nearly every fucking evening???????

I’m coeliac (been gluten free since mid July) and my ferritin is the low end of normal (not sure exactly what number it is). I have made an effort to include more iron rich foods in my diet and also take a supplement (careful not to overdo it).

It’s not covid because it’s been going on for as long as I can remember. It could just be the ferritin but my whole upper body hurts to touch (the skin is so sensitive), my joints ache, I’m absolutely exhausted, feel sick and weak. I am certain I haven’t had any gluten and I certainly can’t be having it every day.

Does anyone else get this? I’m gutted because I really thought I’d feel better by now.

Are you sure your not glutening yourself by mistake? I did it with squash once accidentally drank my daughters which contained barley got brain fog and continued to drink it for days Confused it was only when I switched to water that it cleared enough for me to realise the issue 😳

I feel like I say this answer too much but could it be b12 deficiency - I believe some (all?) coeliac cannot or may not be able to absorb b12 correctly - have a read up and see as you will need injections if you cannot absorb

My ferritin is low.
I often feel like I'm coming down with something. I also get a lot of headaches.
I've started iron supplements too but haven't noticed an improvement yet
