Covid test abroad

Hi ds is off to Zante and we have booked his day 2 test for arrival backin the UK but I must admit to been confused as to how he gets his test in zante 3 days before he fly back to the UK. I mean surely its a risk in case he can't find a clinic or they are out of tests etc. Anybody been through it that knows how it works.

Can't he book a test over there before he goes?

Just book a test from one of the UK approved providers over video call. Randox Health does them for example. You pay and then book a time slot for max 72 hours before you travel back.

Clearly need to do this before you leave the country though, as you will need to bring their test with you.

There will be plenty of local clinics. It shouldn't be difficult for him to sort it out himself locally.
