My cleaner comes at really erratic times, sometimes at 9am but today I am hone now at 17:00 and she hasn’t been, she said it would be afternoon but I really don’t want her here in what I would class as evening while we are using the spaces she cleans (bathroom/kitchen/lounge spaces).

AIBU to expect her to come in the daytime, when the house is empty and not being used?

No. You need to tell her you need a consistent time and if she can't commit to that then the employment is terminated.
