UPS?

One of their hideous shit-coloured vans just drove down my road and got me thinking that surely to God they are due a change of branding?

The logo is so old fashioned, but not in a cool, retro way.

And the yellow and brown combo, urgh even the Brownies uniform manages to make better use of those colours.

Any other dated branding that needs to go?

It’s an American icon though - and the same throughout the world. Imagine the cost of rebranding!

That made me laugh! DD went to Beavers after she outgrew Rainbows. I’m convinced the awful Brownies uniform formed part of her decision!

It has never even crossed my mind, but now I feel compelled to defend them, for some reason. I guess I don't associate that dark brown with excrement, for a starter. You could just as easily have said it's chocolate brown and gold, a timeless colour combo.

Yes I could have said chocolate brown and gold, but when I look at a UPS van I don't think of chocolate brown, I think of shit brown. So chocolate brown never sprung to mind lol :D

the UPS uniform really does it for me, especially when they have the shorts on during summer - have no idea why!
DH always takes the piss out of me about it since I don't have a thing for uniforms generally

It's not a "brand" as such but I think the Bavarian police uniform might just trump UPS. As you can see, it's a heady concoction of yellow/orange shirt, beige trousers and green blouson jacket (sometimes replaced by a green blazer or black leather blouson jacket).Thank goodness they are now transitioning to blue.

DHL is worse. I don't have the energy to get worked up about uniforms. The majority are unflattering polyester eyesores.

I feel like the lime green or bright orange ones are worse as you instantly think cheap and shit. Like EasyJet could make their orange uniforms out of the finest silk and they’d still look cheap and polyester. We once stayed in a Holiday Inn that had quite nice rooms that were accented with lime green accessories, making them look rather shit.
