Has anyone been pinged today and if so would anyone mind uploading a screenshot? Obv crop out any personal info. It’s just I run a large holiday house and a guest has just cancelled a 2 week booking on the basis she’s been pinged. T&Cs say she’ll get a full refund but something seems fishy to me- lots of trying to back out just after last cancellation day etc. I’ve never had the app so would like to see what a ping should look like. Thanks!

My DD sent me this pic when she was pinged yesterday. She is double vaccinated so she doesn't have to do the isolation though.

Yes double jabbed and under 18s don’t need to self isolate any more for close contacts.

I’m a bit surprised that the app still tells you to isolate even if you’ve been double jabbed, but maybe they are working on that.

School, what exactly do your terms say about cancellation? Do they require proof?

There are loads of people (SE England) looking for last minute holidays on Facebook, I don't think you'll have any issues selling it.

That's because the app doesn't know who you are, or anything about you. It doesn't connect to anything about your vaccinations.

It's also why isolation on being pinged by the app is not and cannot be a legal requirement, as you cannot be identified via the app.

Oh yes Patricia just remembered the jab info is on a separate app.
