AIBU to be annoyed at bonfire?

AIBU to be really annoyed at someone choosing to have a bonfire in the daytime?

Woke up to smoke this morning and it's still continuing.

I thought it had stopped and hung washing out and have had to bring it in now.

I don't mind a bonfire in the evening if you must, but we've had pretty crappy weather and this is the first chance in days to hang washing out!

Also my hair smells like it does when I go camping Angry

No.

I think they are bloody anti social things at any time of day/night or indeed the year.

I think in the daytime it's fine, a lot of people will be out at work during the day. It would annoy me if someone had one in the evening, especially if it's nice when people will want to be in their gardens or have their windows open.

It depends how frequent it is, I mean we all like to burn things now and then but some people seem to have a bonfire permanently on the go.

YNBU. It sounds annoying

Farmer on field near where I work has had a bonfire all day. God knows what he's burning as it stinks. When I left work I see someone has called the fire service as they were trying to figure out how to acces the field . All of our small town stinks of smoke.

Most areas these days bonfires are against local bylaws. Might be worth a call to the council.

Apparently you're meant to have them in daytime. That's what our council says anyway.

It wouldn't bother me, it's just part of living near people.
