To consider a dog trailer?

Been looking at these for awhile, with regard to biking.

Not for any busy roads.

Just to help when the dog doesn't want to run anymore! I'd love her to be able to come out when we go cycling, but we do like to go quite far!

Has anyone got one, is it mad to even consider one!

I think the key question is how big/heavy is your dog?

I got my dog one when he was elderly. He was petrified of it, and had a complete meltdown. It only got used the once.

I used to have an alley cat trailer bike for DD and occasionally hired a similar trailer to the one you are looking at for your dog, when she was a baby.
Not the best for hills, they are quite heavy. How heavy is dog?

She's 14kg 😊 Pretty laid back, pretty trainable

Thanks that's good info! We'd mostly be on flats, some hills but nothing massive

I think the key question is how big/heavy is your dog?

I'd say she medium, around 14kg, can fluctuate up to 16kg

The being scared of it thing is something that worries me! I have seen people around with dogs In them, wondering if it's worth the chance

Is there somewhere local you can hire one?
