Ok. Long time lurker sometime poster.

I was on holiday with DP last weekend. Stayed in a moderately priced BnB.

When we arrived he found an iPhone charger already plugged into the wall. Said that he was just going to take it, as his was a bit frayed at the end already. I thought this was a bit cheap rather than just buying a new one. He thought it was fair game to steal someone's property rather than handing it in at the desk.

Who is unreasonable here?

I'd say in a hotel these things basically become communal property so I think yabu

Flatdisco · 14/08/2021 18:22

Yeah it's cheap and a bit shitty of him

Glittertwins · 14/08/2021 19:13

Use it and leave for the next people to use

WrongKindOfFace · 14/08/2021 19:23

I’d use it and leave it. To be honest I’d expect the host to Chuck it or return to previous guest as damaged chargers are a fire risk.
