Expected better response from MKM ....

Bought a new bathroom from MKM earlier in the year and splashed out (pardon the pun) on a fairly expensive one. Fast forward few weeks and the paint on the door of the vanity unit is cracking and the unit is starting to 'bubble' underneath. Rang and then emailed MKM and so far have only received a copy of the email they sent to the manufacturers so called in 2 days ago and was told to wait to see what the manufacturers say. I am not sure of my legal rights here - who has to rectify this fault - is it MKM who sold us it or the manufacturers? Part of the reason I am upset is that we have had no apology or promise to put it right and they seemed quite disinterested. It was massive disruption getting the bathroom ripped out, we paid a lot of money and now it looks terrible :))

I think it prudent the contact the manufacturers to see f there is a problem. It is a base to start from. They haven't ignored you they've kept you in the loop with their investigations so far.

I'd keep going with the company you purchased from. Their contract was with you. The suppliers wasn't.
