Help with the bank

I need to deposit cash into my bank (rbs) tomorrow, however the branches in Manchester are closed tomorrow.
Is there any other way of doing it that anyone knows of?
Via another bank or an atm for example? Thanks

My bank lets me deposit through the Post Office, is that an option?

You can pay in at a NatWest branch or Post office according to the website

I know you used to be able to do it at the post office but think you might need special pay in thing. Could you give someone the cash and they could transfer some money from their account to yours.

bankey · 13/08/2021 20:45

Says just need chip and pin on Debit Card. So should be easy enough.

DroopyClematis · 13/08/2021 20:47

I'm pretty sure that some banks let you scan cheques.
Won't alter the credit date though.

I use the post office. It goes straight into my no account.

dementedpixie · 13/08/2021 22:24

Don't think post office deposits are immediate though.

Could you put it in a friend or families bank then they online transfer it to yours?

Donnasaurus · 13/08/2021 22:47

Pay it in at a post office, you just use your card to pay it in and it goes in straight away

icedcoffees · 13/08/2021 22:53

@dementedpixie

Don't think post office deposits are immediate though.
The cash deposits are - I do them several times a week as part of my business.
dementedpixie · 13/08/2021 23:08

I've read the info and looks like if you use a paying in slip it takes longer but if you use your card and pin it's faster
