Klarna taken payment - posting for traffic!

Placed my first order with Klarna this afternoon -it was only £45 so not huge. The only option I got was to pay over 3 months so £15 today and so on. I shall clear balance next week, I would have preferred the option to pay it all off in 30 days.

So not really knowing what I was doing and phone and app being useless, put card details into Klarna for checkout and it took me to the merchant website, so clicked to pay with same uploaded card details.

The app froze, money has been taken from my account but neither Klarna or the merchant are showing any orders or any payment taken. I haven't received any email or text from either confirming.

Does this mean they have rejected the order and I have the pleasure of waiting 5 days for my money back.

Am I just generally thick? (I am)

If you go onto the Klarna app you can live chat with one of their staff. I use Klarna a lot and always find it very good, the live chat option usually sorts stuff quickly.

Had a similar experience with another one like this but it took four weeks and four payments and countless whatsapp chats to actually get my money back.
It's put me off using that particular one now

Not feeling so hopeful now... Just wanted to try it on something small.

Live n learn. Thankfully didn't go straight in for something high end.

I had this with paypal pay in 3.
It tries to take the 1st payment to prove you have the funds.
Paypal takes 72 hours and when the purchase hasn't completed and will the refund you.
Not helpful really though as items were out of stock 3 days later, and if I had lots of money I wouldn't need to be making particial payments.
Hopefully you get it fixed.

I'll probably have a look tomorrow now, need to go pick DD up from a week long residential - normally a 6 hour drive, they were due back at 2 - now estimated 5.30

I did feel sorry for her until I called and the coach sounded like a nightclub
