AIBU to starve my DH?

Today is my poor DH's turn to cook but he can't think of a meal he would like to clobber together from the full fridge, freezer and pantry.

He would like to eat "anything" but sadly that's not available from the abundantly stocked kitchen Sad

Well he'll have to source a takeaway then! Wink

RainyDay2020 · 12/08/2021 17:43

Bread and jam it is then (for him, you get a takeaway of your choice which he shall pay for! 😁)

Tinitiny · 12/08/2021 18:26

Poor little lamb, isn’t it just awful for him? Did you forget to stock the fridge with ‘anything’ again?

Take-away for you then? 😆

He's trying to get you to pick up the mental load!

Leave him to it.

I feel rough - husband is on his iPad ordering take away sushi. Obviously this involves s lot of swearing 🙄

I'm afraid that he was successful, I ended up suggesting a simple meal Blush

Aww, the poor man. Life's a bitch mate.

They really are quite useless

Fleetw00d · 12/08/2021 19:40

Hit send too quick! I love my DP but he carries less than 1% of the mental load at home, very hard worker at his job but when he clocks off he really clocks off, whereas I do the housework and childcare and everything in between 24/7.
Men just don't get it do they!
